Data we collect
We collect your name, email, university, phone and WhatsApp numbers, profile photo, and the content of listings, messages and reviews you create.
How we use your data
We use your data to operate the marketplace: to display your listings, connect you with buyers and sellers, show your seller profile, and keep the platform safe.
Sharing
Your display name, university, profile photo, ratings and listings are visible to other users. Your phone and WhatsApp numbers are shown only when you choose to share contact on a listing. We never sell your data.
Storage & retention
Your data is stored securely. We keep it for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your profile, listings, and messages are permanently removed within 30 days. However, we retain listing data for an additional 90 days after deletion for fraud investigation and legal compliance purposes, after which it is completely destroyed. We never retain personal contact information (phone, WhatsApp, email) beyond account deletion.
