1. Eligibility
Campus Trade is exclusively for current students of Ghanaian universities. By creating an account you confirm that you are an enrolled student at one of the supported institutions.
2. One account per user
Each user may hold only one account. Creating multiple accounts may result in suspension or termination.
3. Marketplace disclaimer
Campus Trade is a platform that connects buyers and sellers. We do not own, inspect, or guarantee any item listed. All transactions are strictly between buyers and sellers. Always inspect items physically before making any payment.
4. Prohibited items
Illegal goods, weapons, drugs, counterfeit products, stolen items, and any item prohibited by Ghanaian law may not be listed. Listings violating these rules will be removed.
5. Listing expiry and renewal
During promotional periods (currently active), approved Standard listings run with extended visibility for 7 days from posting or renewal and then automatically expire — you can re-post an expired listing for free to make it live again. Outside promotional periods, approved Standard listings remain active and visible for 48 hours from posting or renewal, after which they are automatically hidden (not deleted); you can renew a hidden listing for free at any time to make it visible again for another 48 hours, and if a hidden listing is not renewed within 2 days it is permanently deleted. Renewals keep the listing's original post date and position — they do not reset it to "newest." Approved Featured listings remain active with Featured placement for 7 days from posting or payment. After 7 days, they are hidden and follow the same 2-day renewal window. To bring a Featured listing back, you pay again for another 7-day Featured period — the listing ID and all accumulated views/saves/reviews are preserved. Any edits to a listing (price, photos, description) must go through the full approval process again. Renewals do not allow edits.
6. Payment disclaimer
Campus Trade does not process or hold payments between buyers and sellers. Any ad fees paid to Campus Trade are for listing visibility only and are non-refundable once an ad is published.
7. Account termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, or harm other users.
